Sewing and Style: My Interview with Seamstress Erin

Amy of Sew Well with Seamstress Erin on Sewing and Style

Hey hey hey – guess what?! I’m hanging out with the talented and fabulous Erin of Seamstress Erin today over on her blog. Head over there and read all about my evolution in thinking about sewing and style. Here’s to hoping I really will be able to look back over many, many, many years of sewing and live up to Erin’s “feminine but not girly” description of me. If so, I think my friends from childhood (and college and graduate school, sadly) will be pleasantly surprised!

I let Erin pick out some of her favorite photos from my blog to use in the interview, and I just love the ones she chose. If you’re newer here and curious about any of the garments you saw featured over there, I’ve linked to them below in the order they appear in the interview.

Also, if you haven’t yet taken advantage of the 20% off coupon code SEWWELL20 currently going on in the SA Curve Etsy shop but you are in the market for one of the measuring wheels I reviewed, Madalynne is currently hosting a giveaway for one.  Head over there and leave a comment for your chance to win!

  1. I loved your interview! It’s so fun to read how your style has changed (and how you’ve gotten more interested in wearing clothes that fit and flatter) since you started sewing. I, for one, hope you have many years ahead of you of sewing beautiful garments!
